Homeopathic remedies work on the principle of “like cures like” - that is, a substance that would cause symptoms in a healthy person is used to cure those same symptoms in illness. For example, one remedy which might be used in a person suffering from insomnia is coffea, a remedy made from coffee.

Homeopathy treatments act to stimulate the body’s own healing capabilities in a gentle way. It is safe to use in all medical conditions and will not produce any side effects. It is also safe to use on all ages even babies.

Carly received her qualification following four years accredited training at South Downs School of Homeopathy in Chichester, which is recognized by the Society of Homeopaths. She has had a lot of experience of working with children as both a nanny and as a primary school teacher and so she can relate easily to children. Carly is passionate about helping parents to use holistic health as well as their instincts to keep their children as happy and as healthy as they can possibly be. Carly is a mother of two and so she understands the challenges (both physical and emotional) that motherhood can bring. She also understands the challenges of bringing babies and children to clinics and so she aims to be as child-friendly as possible, she aims to make the babies and children feel very safe and welcome. Toys are also provided as well as an all important sticker at the end of the session! Although Carly specialises in treating pregnancy, babies and children, she knows the importance of the child having healthy parents and so she is very keen to treat both mums and dads too.
